Adult Employment Services
employU’s adult disability employment services are designed to prepare each participant for the job-seeking process. Our team works one-on-one with customers with disabilities to find the right job for them. It is not just a job search, it is about highlighting a customer’s strengths and abilities to secure long-term employment that is fulfilling and rewarding.
Evaluations
employU offers Vocational and Psychological Evaluation services. Available in virtual and in-person formats, these evaluation services work together to provide a clearer, more detailed picture of the best career path for each client.
Benefits Analysis
Recipients of Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) can be referred to employU to speak with a Certified Work Incentive Practitioner to obtain a detailed analysis between employment and your benefits.
Pre-Employment Training
Getting hired at the right job takes time and preparation. During the pre-employment training phase, customers will gain valuable skills to set them up for a successful job-hunting experience.
Job Placement & Coaching
employU customers work with Employment Specialists to find the right career path for them. Our team explores available job opportunities in each customer’s travel radius, accompanies them to interviews, and advocates on their behalf with employers.
Getting Started
employU partners with The Florida Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, the Agency for Persons with Disabilities, and the American Dream Employment Network to receive referrals for services. We can help connect you with these agencies, complete applications for services, and provide support throughout the process to facilitate a smooth transition.
